| Lisilwen is down to 4, one of them seemed sick, and eventually she just booted it out of the nest. After looking it over we figured it wasn't digesting and that's probably why she didn't want anything more to do with it. It's tummy was completely black. Hopefully her other four are doing great. There's one that comes out of the nest frequently, he's huge, but Lisilwen gets mad at it, drags it back inside and makes sure no one else gets out.
Tiku's two babies are still doing really good though, for a first time mom I'm surprised that she didn't eat the litter.
With any luck we'll get some pictures of everyone this week, the babies will be touchable wednesday, so by then we should be able to put 'em all together, with caution, for a picture. |
