Congrats Michelle and Mama Chiku! Michelle and one of her hedgies, Mama Chiku, were on the front page of a local Halifax paper today.

| Michelle will also be on the radio too, probably later this week. I have a story called "Hedgehogs as Pets" starring her & the local exotics vet that will likely air this Friday on 94.7 SEaside FM. Way to go Michelle!!!

Here's a picture for those how don't get the Daily News. I liked this photographer- I think he captured the essence of Mama Chiku quite nicely, although she thinks the camera adds about 10 grams. I like that they put that hedgehogs are friendly little critters. Maybe it will help dispell the myth about them all being grumpy little quillballs.
