Hedgie in the news needs help urgently!

Please read this. It is disgusting how this poor hedgie is being treated.

http://www.universitydaily.net/vnew...0/4091ce7d26a7d

We need letters written to the Humane Society in the area and also to the team.

http://www.richardsonhumanesociety.org/

enforcement@aspca.org; investigations@spca.org, and if anyone lives in
the area code please please call these people..

Lubbock Animal Services-Animal Shelter (806) 775-2057

Texas Tech is located in Lubbock TX

The roster of coaches:
Larry Hays - Head Coach
Daren Hays - Assistant Baseball Coach
Travis Walden - Assistant Coach
Joe Dillon - Volunteer Assistant Coach
Shishir Bhakta - Manager
And the switchboard phone # for the school: (806) 742-2011

Thanks for helping. If anyone has any other ideas or lives in that area please post.

Those remarks are the only ones I found troubling ... and the latter I think was an over-exageration ... I don't think I have enough information regarding his treatment to form an opinion as of yet ... if they boot him around like a soccer ball, then that would be definantly considered digusting to me ... but if they just give him a tap ... I wouldn't really think its right, but if he does roll around in his ball all the time ... maybe he enjoys it ...

I don't know ... the article doesn't go much in details at all regarding his treatment. For those who can't get to the link posted (like me), I'll repost it: http://www.universitydaily.net/vnews...d?in_archive=1

I do agree that it should be looked at ... just in case.

Lixx will become famous soon enough
Other then the statement that snr~j outlined, I see nothing wrong. If they are indeed kicking him around, then it needs to be stopped.

I think that it was probably just a metaphor or an exaggeration. There isn't really any evidence that they are abusing the hedgehog.
