Got the hogs...

As some of you might know I was about to get 2.0 albino african pygmy hogs, which finnaly happened on Saturday. In the deal I got the 2 hedgehogs, a cage, 2 hides, 2 wheels, a bag of treats, a couple containers and a book, a total of 60$ for all.

I cannot attach pic though But there a very nice white with red eyes The only problem I have had is that there very afraid of humans, they need lots of taming, but they have started to come out of there balls on my hands and walk around on or table

Hi,

Congrats on your new Albino's.....every night spend some time with them..i use the couch method...just let walk all over you while you are watching tv.....and you can also start to handfeed them mealworms from your hand as a treat in time they will get to know you and star to unball more and more....patients is a virtue like they say..good luck with the albino's.

Congrats Kevin! You did get a great deal for every thing to care for your new quill friends! You might want to try this idea with them to help them get use to you. Take a old tee shirt you have worn and let them sleep with it in there cage. It helps them get use to you because of your smell on it. Please keep us up dated on how things are going. Lois
