Meet my new guinea

I finally figured out why my guinea pig wasn't eating, it's because she was lonely and needed a buddy. I went down to the Humane Society today and picked up a long hair fancy female Guinea pig as a friend for Penny. Her name is Dime and she is 1.5 years old. She is sooo friendly and loves being snuggled by both people and Penny.Here are a few pics of my girls.

Yes my cat loves to watch them, she also plays with them when they are out of the cage, just sniffs them and watches. Dime the fluffy girl is sooooooo precious, she has the cutest little lips and she loves being brushed. Penny likes to run away and she is still getting used to be picked and held.

I'm actually looking to build or buy a bigger cage.Does anyone roughly know how much it would cost to make one out of those cube thingys? Of course I need a canadian dollar price.Thanks

cpetrash is an unknown quantity at this point
They had 5 Guinea pigs at the Humane Society, all of them either looked unkept and unhealthy or they were very antisocial.Dime was originally called Peanut but sticking with the theme I wanted my girls to be Penny&Dime.
