It was all bad news at the vets...over an hour with different testing and an xray...$261 later (she's worth it!)...
The reason the lumps were growing is tumors--malignent--spread into the lungs too. The doc is waiting for a 2nd opinion but feels because it has spread in the lungs, the expense and the risk were too hig...she probably wouldn't survive due to her age. Said it was hormonal and would have to be spayed to remove the ovaries...can't do it locally...would have to bring her to Ottawa Clinic.
I am so broken hearted over this...my gentlest little girl!!
The only good thing is that she is not feeling any pain from it...
she is fast asleep next to Sarah now.
