My little guine-pig so sweet, has not seemed to have recovered from her dental surgery (she had to have her upper two incisors removed by the roots, due to an accident she had); the best guesses her vets had were possible digestive upset, irritated GI tract, possible infection. She is slowly losing weight, is not interested in her Timothy Hay, so therefore is also drinking a lot less water (hay is pretty dry) - I am taking her to see one more alopathic vet, then going holistic by locating an alternative vet on the web. I believe animals are also spirit souls, as are we, and as well, she has intrusted her heart and soul and life to me - not to mention the fact that I also genuinely love her, too.

Have you been handfeeding her? The most important thing to do right now is to get fluids into her (by handfeeding or sub-Q) and get food into her so that the digestive tract can preserve it's motility.
