| Highly stressful morning for both os us When I went to greet Rose bonjour this morning (5:30)I found her huddled in the corner and half-eyed, poofy furred--she allowed me to give her her morning pet and then I served breakfast...she barely moved so I placed some food next to her and she nibbled on it..
I spent the rest of the morning waiting for 8 a.m. to call the vet.
Bad news Rose's doc in gone to a seminar, the head doc is off til monday...they gave two other local hospitals to call and offered to fax in Rose's file. One wouldn't even discuss piggies, the other though more compassionate, refused as well.
Feeling utterly helpless about what to do, my only choice was to make an appointment with Rose's doc for tuesday and ask "what if" they said yes.
All my hopes are now resting with Rose's will and strength to survive.
I am so heart-broken at the thought of losing my eldest girl (4 in Sept).
I must also consider little Sarah (1 1/2 yrs) Rose's pen pal...and her well-being too. |
