Hey - you might have seen my other thread - guinea pig eye changing color but if you havent ill give you an update.

My guinea pig - Rodeo - has this eye that started out normal then just lately receeded and then got better. But now her eye is cloudy and kinda has a thick layer over it. BUT, she is acting totally normal - eating, drinking, playing, and even responding to objects on that side of her.

I just want to know if something similar to this has happened before to anyone and what it was and if it was lethal or what. I really appreciate others telling me to visit the vet and the fact that they even responded. But vets are kinda out of the picture - bad experience - waste of time and money. (Last pig died after taking given antibiotics from vet and vet said the pig would live.)

Please help me - i love my piggie very much and would hate to see her in pain - even though she shows absolutely NO signs of pain. So please, if you read this i hope you understand how much i need your help. If you've had this happen, or something similar, or know someone whose had something like this happen to them. Thanks for your time and help.
