Broccoli

Would it be ok if I give my guinea's the stalk off of Broccoli? If so, how much? It has been a long time since I have owned guinea pigs and forgot what is good for them to eat and what is not. They do like carrots, I buy them with the tops on and they seem to love it.

I give my guinea pigs the stalks and i've had them nearly 6 years and are both fighting fit so i'm sure its ok. Mine love carrots, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, apple, orange etc..... and would probably eat me if i sat still long enough

I have found that my Guineas don't like carrots, I went and bought the biggest bag I could but they just push them out of their dish and eat the lettuce and apples and broccoli.

actually they are good for them but greens need to be the major part of their fresh diet, and that means romain lettuce, leaf lettuce, carrot tops, kale, collard greens, turnip greens, beet greens, swiss chard, bok choy, fresh grass, dandelion greens, plantain, queen annes lace, thats to name a few
veggies should only make up about 10-15% of diet, mine love celery carrots, broccoli, peppers, cauliflour, kalbarhi and occassionally a bit of apple, pear, grapes or orange.

jennawing will become famous soon enough
The brocolli stalks are the best part!

And you can try shredding the carrots- Piccy wouldn't eat them until I tried shredding them- now he'll eat them any old way.

Svenya- here is a list of safe Piggy veggies-
