My interesting morning

So Phillip and I were getting ready to walk out the door this monring for work and he decided to go look in on the caged pets before we leave. I can hear him calling me asking where Peeper is. I thought she was just hiding in her log tunnel like she does every moening but he insisted she wasn't in there. I went in the room and realzed I had forgotten to latch the door on the top of the cage So needless to say Peeper had escaped sometime between 11 pm and 7 am. We looked around for her and couldn't find her, I was freaking out (Cally, my cat, was locked in my room thank God).

I had to go to work to fax in the fish order and feed the fish and we had to drop Phil off so I had to leave the house knowing my baby was somewhere out of her cage with my dogs running around. After I finished my stuff at work I rushed home to contunue my search...well guess who greets me at the chinnie room door the minute I open it! I was so relieved to see her sitting there staring at me...I ahve no idea how long she was out.

It doesn't look like she did much besides tear open a bag of raisins

Lol...of course she had to help herself to some raisins. I'm glad you found her.

Love those Wires

You were so very lucky. Chins love the insulation on wires, and if it is a power wire, you can loose your animal.

We keep our chins in onw room, and there is only one wire, but it runs straight up. We let our chins run in a playpen, byt try to avoid letting them out in the room, unless it is the bathroom. Of course the toilet seat must be closed! Coursity they will jump up to see what's there and end up drowning.

Courtney, Peeper is a cute little stinker. I'm sure she keeps you on your figurative and your literal toes!
