Mr. Clean!!!

is Mr. Clean a bad thing to use to clean your chin's cage with? Just wondering 'cause I've been thinking about using it instead of dish soap to put my mind at ease that I could be cleaning it with something to make it more sanitary for my chinny!

I wouldn't use it Mr Clean is made with very strong chemicals and can emit fumes that are dangerous for your chin.

If you want to disinfect you cage, you might want to try a mixture of water and vinegar or of water and tee tree oil (a few drops in hot water should do the trick). Both are very good to disinfect and are far less toxic for your critter. Dish soap also works well if you want to stick to that.

I use a mixture of vinegar and water. It does a really good job of cleaning the melamine. In the summer, I will use something stronger (like a bleach mixture) and then let the cage air dry for an hour or so.
