| Group purchase invitation for Albertans and Canadians For those of you who'd like to bring in new bloodlines or just want that "extra special" (they're all extra special, I know! ;-) chin, here's an opportunity.
Several Albertans and possibly a few other Canadians are joining me in a group purchase from Whitewoods Chinchillas this fall.
If you are interested, we have done this once before, and we have already found and worked out all the "kinks".
This group purchase means that we get to cut down on shipping costs, health certs, gst (no pst - coming into alta first!).
And we get great quality chins. Herd improvement/show quality when available (mutations) and upon request (standards).
Contact me if you are interested. |

| Westjet. Pickup if you want, but that's one heck of a drive!
*grin*
I think it's $67 anywhere in canada for live cargo - up to 10 lbs, I think, I'd have to ask again. |

| Oh, yeah, or Air Canada.
The guys out here are just awesome, but I have heard some wierd stories about other airports.
So far, so good with Air Canada for me, though. |

| My violet girl came via air canada, so I think it would be okay. Do they just go by request, or do they have an "available" list? |

| Debbie,
My post answering this response seems to have gone to outer space!
Lixx,
Again, sorry, my responding post went "poof!"
Debbie,
I'll add your chins to the "shopping list". FYI there are no more homo eb males or females, but there are all other colour phases of ebony still available. Homo ebs (male $300/female $350), so heteros of any colour phase will cost somewhat less.
Show/Herd improvement standards are the same price as "pet" quality, if I am not mistaken.
Lixx,
Yes, the requests go through me - it saves on lots of possible miscommunications and $$$ in the end. Even the wire transfers of the payment get ridiculously expensive individually! |

| Jacquie - sorry, never got back to you on this, been a zoo around here (literally ). We are still considering this, but need to see what our finances are like in August to do a yes or no. I will let you know for sure though soon.
