Well, essentially anyway.
We did surgery today to see what on earth the swelling in the 'scrotal' area was and it turns out it's a fat pad about the size of a quarter! He did great throughout the surgery and is chowing down on pellets and hay right now. We're sending the fat pad off to biopsy, just to be 100% certain, but it looks harmless. No sign of an abdominal hernia either, which thrills me.
There was some yellowish looking stuff (smaller than the tip of a pen) on one portion, so we're going to see if that's testicular residue, infection, or what it is. He's going to go through another 5 days of Bactrim just in case it would be an infection. He's tolerating the Bactrim (sulfatrim) very well and has shown no GI upset at all.
Finally, all looks good for him!
THANK YOU to all of you asking about him and keeping him in your prayers. It meant a lot to me!
