Thanks Lisa I suspect the subjects have a bit to do with it too.

You've pretty much nailed that on the head.
Jiggy is our boisterous little diva. She LOVES attention and will get into everything and anything. She's got TONS of personality and is very very smart. If you let her out of the cage for play time, she'll try finding the highest point in the living room and then try making her way there OR will go straight for her Papa's books and give them a little taste until we tell her no.
Calypso on the other hand is pretty shy and quiet. She takes a long time to trust anyone, does not like being held at all, but is a total sweetie when she warms up to you and you approach her in her element. She spends countless hours giving us kisses and grooming my hand when its in her cage, but she gets really nervous whenever anything is out of her routine. She is also the gatekeepr of the house, running to the cage door to check out who's coming in every time she hears the keys in the lock or the bedroom door opening. But if you move too fast around her, she'll bolt straight to the hut and start crying out.
