Do Chinchillas hibernate?

Nothing has changed other than it is getting colder outside, well my chin is starting to stay in her hut more often even at night when she is generally up and running around. She is still eating just fine and seems perfectly well, other than she is not out as often. Do chins hibernate?

No, chinchillas do not hibernate. How long have you had your chinchilla?
