| Cub is going to the vet Poor Cub. She wouldn't eat any Mazuri yesterday & I gave her oat hay saturated with mollasses & she still wouldn't touch it. All I could get her to eat was Chinchilla Cocktail & fresh organic banana. She didn't want to play, just chew on the wall. When I put her back in the cage she was honking, & then she bit me when I went to console her. Of course this had to happen on a holiday weekend, so i couldn't get her to a qualified vet yesterday, but she has an appointment for 6pm tonight @ Parrots to Ferrets. I am worried about her. They are going to keep her overnight. I know she's in good hands with Dr Benoit but I am still worried. Also I am having to spend the money I put aside for Hank's dental surgery on Cub, & then some, which leaves me having to beg my bf for help with the cost of this, which could get pretty high, with x-rays, overnight stay, etc.
If anyone knows any ways of making Cub more comfortable until vet time, please let me know. I am here @ the station for another hour or so. Cub was ok @ 5:30 am when I left for work. I gave her a rub & she seemed a little better. But she had not touched her pellets.

| Aww I hope she is okay! How long has she been off food? Did she loose any weight? Yeppes, the vet costs are very expensive. I've been there many times and Im still paying off bills. LOL I really hope she is okay and my fingers are crossed!

| It's been about a day & a 1/2 since she stopped eating pellets. She is living on fruit & Chinchilla Cocktail. Her poos are small but otherwise normal though.

| Thanks so much. She is acting very needy & wants to cuddle today now that I am home from the radio station. She seems to have eaten a little Mazuri. I gave her some salad greens & raisin bran (organic) & she seemed really hungry & ate most of it.
Our appointment is @ 6pm. I think I will take the 3pm bus to avoid the crowds.
