| It's true that they like a lot of space
My first cage I had for my chin was 2x2x3 feet. The one she has now is HUGE though lol. 4x4x2.5 feet. and she STILL begs for playtime lol. she's a diva.
don't feel bad if the cage is small at first, if that's what you can manage, just don't make it ridiculously small. I honestly think 2x2x3 is the standard/minimum? I'm not 100% though, you can easily google it to get an idea, and it never hurts to expand it later, especially if ur chin's by itself (like mine)
just dont neglect to play with em for at least 30 minutes a day! lol that's key for taming them and stuff (but remmeber to not let it out until it's comfortable with you which COULD take a few weeks). i limited my chin to just the bed for the first little bit (and make sure you ensure you line it underneath with plastic garbage bags or osmething in case they have an accident :| ) lol |
