| Chinnie Introductions We'd like to introduce our two new chinnies.
The first is our lovely new female hetero beige we named Sin, and second is our male black velvet named Chaos! We think those are the correct colors, correct us if we're wrong however. Sin doesn't look beige at all, but its the only color that fits her description. |

| Yes, that is a beige chin. Beige chins come in different shades, like standards do. Chaos is a dark standard, not a black velvet. Very pretty shade I must say. I love the dark standards, they have a nice sheen to their coat I find.
Very cute chins

| Really, I didn't think standards could get that dark ... I'm gonna have a hard time getting the hang of this. Anyone know a good functional color guide? |

| I'm not even sure if there is a website that has picture of the different phases of standards, I have looked for one before, but never found one.

| I had the same questions when I adopted Manuel.. he is quite dark as well but not quite like the BV's I've seen. They are sweet!
Welcome to the World of Chins! They are very addictive!

| Chaos isn't very trusting of us yet ... but we're hoping treats will start changing that idea ... plus Sin seems to have it in her head that every time I open her cage door it means free run and she runs ... those little guys can sure hop fast
I don't really need pictures ... descriptions would work fine for colors ... I'm pretty good at following descriptions after a year of deciding what colors Hedgehogs are by description . |

| If there are treats involved, I bet it won't take him too long to warm up to you

| Food is indeed a great motivator! Your little Chaos is a real cutie, and Sin does look quite...active! I'm sure they will warm up to you just fine.
