Chinchilla rescues in Ontario?

I am getting about 4-5 emails a week right now from people needing to rehome their chins. I can not take any more in. Is there anyone else in my area that does or you know of that takes in and rehomes chinchillas?

Why are all these people giving up their chins?

These are what I get every-other email.

Have you tried contacting the Ontario Chinchilla Association?

I did a search and found these people on http://www.chinchillaz.org/rescues3.html:

Nancy
Location: Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Email: trill100@hotmail.com
Specifics regarding taking in chins: Cannot take in chinchillas that require expensive vet care.
Other animals: Hedgehogs and ferrets.

Kim McKay
Location: Kitchener, Ontario, Canada
Email: chinsgalore@yahoo.ca
Phone: (519)744-7366
Specifics regarding taking in chins: Able to take in chinchillas in need of a home and TLC. May be able to pick up, if distance is not too extreme.

Jennifer Delaney
Location: Welland, Ontario, Canada
Email: delaney_3@sympatico.ca
Specifics regarding taking in chins: Able to take chins of all ages in need of a caring and loving home.

I don't know if any of these are current or not.

I know Jen actually. Have not heard from her as to whether she can take any in. Nancy I wouldn't as she states she can't take in those that need expensive care, and with chins you just never know. I will try Kim though. I have posted on the OCA forum too. We'll see where it leads.
