Well, we're down in number of chins compared to what we once had (30+ at our peak), but I was inspired to share the pictures of the chins that we do have left since I saw another thread. Here they are:
Kodi and Malina - this was when we first introduced them (it was love at first site). They've since had 2 beautiful kits and Malina is pregnant again - due any time! (Kodi is the pink-white male and Malina is the dk. ebony female)
Vikrant (standard grey male) and Aday May (black velvet female) - these two were just put together yesterday. We wanted to mate May with Kodi (shown above), but the two just did NOT get along and when we put May with Vikrant, it was as though they'd been together all of their lives. We'll see if they can produce some nice kits for us
B'Elanna (black velvet female) and Erin (standard grey female) - Erin is B'Elanna's daughter (father was a very nice male named Christaphalo that we, regretfully, gave away). We're currently waiting for Erin to be old enough that we can put a male in with both of them and not have to seperate the mother/daughter pair, but we'll see where things go.
KJ - "the survivor" is such a trooper. He's a violet chin and we purchased him because he had done well at a local show. He's been through at least two different times in his life where he had an ailment that could've easily meant pending death and he's survived. When my ex and I split up, we actually had somewhat of a custody battle over him
And although she has been re-homed, I wanted to picture the little baby girl that really started it all. She was the first kit that was ever born to us and I became addicted to chinchillas and breeding after that. So here's

I hope you guys enjoyed

Thanks for looking at my little fuzzbutts that I'm just crazy about. I hope to see more pictures of all of your critters in the future.
