| Chin World ... Safe or Not? I was just wondering if chin world is reliable and safe to order on line? I want to pay with master card but thought I would see if anyone has done this before.

| I believe that Chinworld is completely safe, however I wouldn't suggest you purchase from them. It costs a small fortune to ship from them up to Canada, and the delays can be quite lengthy. I've never had a problem with the quality of their items, but I simply refuse to pay that much for shipping. |

| I wouldn't suggest it either. The charged me extra after my order went through and there was a long delay on my order. Supposedly the train that my shipment was on derailed...but I paid for air mail.
What are you planning on buying? If I buy dust from the US again, I will probably buy from Ryerson's if I can't fimd something else in Canada. |

| I can't say for in Canada, but I order almost all my chin stuff from them. I recently found a place near home that can order in Mazuri for me so I don't order food from there anymore, and they recently upped the price of the cages, so I ordered directly from Martinscages.com. Otherwise on everything else I've never had a problem and everything has been delivered in a short amount of time and in good condition even being sent UPS Ground. Though now about the only thing I order from there is dust bath. Other than the occasional order of Mrs Pastures Horse Cookies, Rose Hips or little odds and ends.

| I was just planning to buy some toys, rose hips, and maybe a wheel but I decided not too. I added it all up and it would be a ton of money. The shipping is crazy. I wish they had a chin world here!!!
Candice - So you ended up paying for it? Did you call and say that you orded it UPS ground? That's not right!

| Yes, I inquired about my order about 48 hours after I placed it because I didn't receive any type of confirmation when I submitted. They said that they were going to have to charge an extra $7 on my credit card (on top of the shipping I already paid with my order) because I'm in Canada but that the order would be air mail. My order took forever and I contacted them several times to see what was going on with no response. When I finally got a response, they said that the shipment was derailed and that it would be at least another week. The whole experience was just a nightmare. If you want a saucer wheel (which I highly recommend if you are getting a wheel), order directly from the source at http://www.chin-chillas.com
That's where I will be ordering my next wheel. |

| Oh Candice I would have been fuming. Are them a small business or large? I would have just cancelled my order and called my master card company saying what they did. I think you can wite a letter of dispute to them. My dad had the same problem and they billed him and he never got his product so he disputed it and didn't have to pay. The company had to.
Yep, I wanted the saucer wheel. Im too scared with any other wheel. Thanks for the link.

| I placed an order for a sub-$20 (US) chin hut, & a box of Calcium Sticks. With dollar exchange, Canadian surcharge, tax & shipping, it totalled almost $80!!~ Needless to say I aborted that order!!!!

| I agree, if you want a saucer wheel, order directly from Meadowbrook. Marty and Amanda are softies to us Canucks, and they try to make the exchange rate a little easier on us it seems
