Chinnie Girl is an unknown quantity at this point
Oh this is not good. Im SOOO sorry you have to go through this. It is not easy taking care of a sick chinnie and is really stressful. Im so happy she is at least eating human food. She needs to eat so I think it's good you are feeding her anything she will eat. I know she is in great hands. It's heartbreaking to put a chin down and if you have to we are all here for you. If you need anything at all we are here.

Thanks everybody, your thoughts & prayers mean so much to us. And as for the offer of Critical Care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took today off work, which is pretty bad, but I wanted to keep an eye on Cub. She took her antibiotic readily about 1/2 hour ago & I am making her mush now. I hope she gobbles it up like she did the first time I served it to her. I bought applesauce & banana baby food to put on top to make her eat more. She is producing poos & they look normal, thankfully.
It is so hard for her, I can tell. But she was accepting rubs again last night & this morning, & wasn't honking or anything, so maybe she is feeling better after eating. I will handfeed her as long as it takes, which is as long as she's getting anything out of life.
I have to call the vet & see what he says abpout recovery, ie. will the deformed stubby teeth grown in if she spends such an extended time eating only soft foods?

Denise has a spectacular aura aboutDenise has a spectacular aura about
Neuro, that is very encouraging! The most important thing now is that she is eating and pooping. I also think she loves the pampered treatment she is getting. I think that is very sweet of Steph (Chinnitude) to ship you the Critical Care.

It must make you feel good to know you have so many people supporting you Neuro.
