Another question

For what ever reason, my chin is very, how shall I say it, frisky and I'm not sure what to do about it. Every time I go to get it out, he tries to go after my arm like it's his female friend. Some of my friends joke around and tell me to get a stuffed animal and now that I have a new chin that will e coming home soon, I'm worried that he might try to be frisky with the new male. Does anyone have any solutions to get him to stop?

lol from what I hear that is typical male chin behavior, and I'm not sure if you can get him to stop besides not letting him grab ur wrist haha

oddly enough, i have a female chin (and i am 100% sure she's female) who grabs my arm, but it's more in a playful, kind of playing tag sort of way, maybe that's what your chin is doing??? (at least sometimes?)

I kinda doubt that he's playing tag... I'm not going into details though. I wish that's what he was doing.

I have read that they are territorial. Do they mark their territory like other animals? Maybe that's why.

hahaha. awww. chins are so crazy......

i honestly dunno lol......from what I have seen both on these forums and on the internet since I got my chin over a year ago that seems to be just a natural part of owning a male chin, but I've never looked too deeply into it since it doesn't really affect me, but I'm sure someone else on here is more knowledgable than me WRT this so hang tight!

I don't know if they "NEED" to do it but I know that chins can be trained, but it does take quite a while. So every time he tries you could just gently push him off or move your hand away etc. and have a command such as "NO!" until he gets the picture

Debbie is on a distinguished road
Not to worry he loves you.
Lets hope he loves the new chin as much.
Yes get him a teddy it might help. A few of my males have teddies.
I have one that tried to pull me in the cage, through the wrungs.LOL
If my hand makes him happy I'll let him have it for a bit.
