Laughing Actual Teddy Bear to be raffled at the ECBC National Show - March 2, 3, 4

Hendrika Cegielski - Custom Furrier located in Crawford Colorado
has completed the teddy bear for the ECBC Teddy Bear Raffle.
Many thanks to Hendrika for creating such a beautiful teddy bear.
Retail the bear is worth between $1200.00 and $1600.00.
Hendrika did a wonderful job. This full sized teddy bear is 18 inches tall and IS JOINTED.
The fur and quality are so nice words hardly do it justice.
I guess a picture is worth a thousand words:

I hugged the bear yesterday. It is so very big, soft and beautiful I did not want to let it go.
Bob Merritt had to forcibly remove the bear from my arms.
Don't worry the bear is fine but I'm not sure I can say the same about my arms! - just kidding Bob!
Raffle tickets can be purchased at the following web site: http://personal.kitusa.com/empressc/...e_tickets.html

Are you actually using Chinchilla fur on these teddy bears?

Yes, I believe that it is real fur.

Unfortunately, the ECBC is an organization that is closely linked to the fur industry. However, many pet owners and breeders attend and compete in these shows. The teddy bear is similar to the "chinchilla roses" that individuals have made after special chinchillas have died (of other causes)and they want to remember them.

That has to be one of the most beautiful bears I've ever seen.
I have been making bears from old discarded fur coats.
I have several coats that have been passed down, but am not into wearing myself.
I couldn't see me just throwing them out, what a waste that would be.
So I make Teddy bears out of them.
Now I can remember, honour, and love the animal and family who have passed.
