Willow's back!

Quick update, we got a dog and one of our cats refused to come inside for weeks. But I took Melissa22's advice, and offered her food outside, and sure enough she came back in!

She's coming back inside pretty regularily now, but mostly just at night when we're sleeping. Then its right back outside as soon as we get up. She still doesn't like the dog, but the other night when I got up to tuck in my son, both cats and the dog were all sleeping in the living room, each on a different couch/chair. So she's come a long way!

Hopefully soon she'll be back for cuddles too

That's great progress!
If you want her to be an indoor-mostly cat.. I wouldn't let her out for awhile. Make her realize that the dog isn't a threat.. once she realizes that & is more comfortable around her, then if she does go out you can be assured she won't be gone for days..
You just have be sure the dog isn't allowed to bother her.. maybe give her a room with a baby-gate at the entrance that the dog can't go into, so she feels safe in there.
