What's up with the teatowels?

Yesterday I was drying some dishes and Isobel kept trying to take the towel away from me. A little while later, that towel went missing, so I got another one out of the drawer. And suddenly Bruce was all over it, attacking it, pulling it out of my hands and trying to chew it to death. I was wondering what the heck was going on with these cats when suddenly I remembered...the last time I bought bags of catnip (for my catnip toys) I threw them in the drawer - the same drawer as the teatowels! Those bags are sealed, so the stuff must be strong if the cats are grooving on the teatowels!

Oh, little drug fiends, that they are, certainly. Bruce was so stoned that he was laying on the floor, stretching out and clawing Hamish on the face everytime Hamish tried to get a piece of the catnip action. I could hear the little 'pick pick' noises as his claws made contact with Hamish's nose. Poor Hamish!

Lol! I was just reading about catnip, and why the kitties react to it. Funny story!

That cracks me up!! Our cats can find anything that has been remotely close to the catnip or honeysuckle.
