| LOL i never even thought about our cat when we got our first christmas tree after we moved to florida..we always go cut our own tree, kind of a family tradition thing, find a christmas tree farm and pick out a tree...so we decorate it all up..pepper was about 6 months old that christmas and of course we had the glass balls : and well, none of them survived...every morning i would have to sweep up before anything else...so we switched to the plastic ornaments after that...and kick ourselves for not thinking about it sooner!!! they last so much longer!
though pepper didn't do anything else to the tree really, she just liked to knock the balls off and chase them around...she also had a horrible grudge against toilet paper..if we forgot to shut the bathroom door, we'd wake up to find toilet paper ALL OVER THE HOUSE..literally...she'd get a roll, roll onto her back, bite it and hang onto it with the front claws and just go to town with the rear till it ripped out of her claws..then she'd chase it down and repeat...
my husband didn't find it nearly as cute as i did |

| Aspen was such a good boy... he never bothered the tree.. he was always curious cause of the smell.. you know all the other wild animals that would have been on it.. and I think he liked the way it scratched his face.. lol...
Jami.. that is so funny with the toilet paper.. I guess I would think it was funny too.. till he kept doing it all the time and my toilet paper bill went up... hehehe |

| Thanks Denise! I have to say, they were ALOT better behaved this past Xmas. I still laid in bed every night, listening to the 'tinkle tinkle' of the bells hanging from the boughs as Bruce and Isobel climbed into the tree for a snooze, but I didn't have to hunt round the apartment for as many missing ornaments, and I'd totally given up and left off any type of beading or garland, so the tree didn't look quite so dishevelled after Xmas. As long as the lights stay on the tree, I don't much care what they do to it
