What Does It Mean? (Newbie Question)

What does it mean when a cat licks your hand or arm, then rubs his face against you and then starts nibbling on you?

Cats have scent glands on the top of their heads, cheeks and paw pads.. when they head butt you or rub their face against you they are 'marking you as their porperty'..
It's a good thing.. it means they accept you as one of them..
