We went to the SPCA today and put in an adoption application for a four month old cat named Bronco. Here are some pictures of him:
Over the last couple of days, we have been buying everything that we would need in the event that our application gets accepted (and I can't see why it wouldn't). I'll admit that we probably went a little crazy, but we ended up getting: some dry and wet food (Wellness), one bag of treats, some litter (Feline Fresh Scoopable), a litter box, a self-grooming brush, a pair of nail clippers, a collar with engraved name tag, some toys (a dangly one that hangs on the door, a dangly one that hangs on the wall, a feather on a string, a Turbo Scratcher, a ball, a mouse and some paper bags), a cat carrier, a very small cat condo and a cat tree.
Now we just need to wait for them to accept our application - they said that it should only be a day or two.
In the meantime, if any of you guys have any tips for bringing a new cat home, I would love to hear them.
