Lanky Kitten

Titus is 9 weeks old now- and I think maybe some of his mother's Oriental breed is coming out in his- wedge-shaped head and big eyes. Funny to see what these little mutts grow up to be!

There's my handsome Titus!! I see what you mean about the Oriental influence. What is Titus' background again?

His mum was a Siamese mix- or somesuch- I was told she looked a full-blood Balinese- but seriously doubt someone would have such a rare breed with no micro-chipping- as most breeders do the microchipping now, right? Genetically, I understand, his father would have been a solid white cat. THe mum was caught and brought in to the humane society- along with a dozen or so more cats. They set out traps every spring in some of the downtown areas- but since so many people's cats go stray or are dumped and they release all the obviously-nursing mothers with little effort to find where her litter- it never really helps the population very much. It took me a while to get that out of this poor little volunteer girl up at the HS- who happens to be a friend of my daughters. I have since been thinking of way to interfere with their cat-catching session- either find more volunteers to follow the released cats or plan a follow-up trapping session to catch them again? Any ideas on that? I am sure they will appreciate me butting into their business yet again. LOL
