As most of you know, we brought our new kitty, Bronco, home around 7 o'clock last night. So far, he has been a super hyper and playful little guy. He loves to jump, climb, and play with his toys. He also loves to rough-house with us (batting, scratching and sometimes lightly biting), so that is one thing that we will have to work on. When he tuckers himself out from playing, he loves to curl up next to or on top of us and get endless scratches and rubs (while he is resting, he will let you rub him all over - including on his tummy and paws).
He has recently contracting an upper respiratory infection, so he has to take antibiotics for the next eight days. We were afraid that it would be difficult to get him to take the pills, but he gobbled up his first dose (we mixed it with some wet food). Other than the infection, he seems to be healthy and adjusting well, as he is eating, drinking and using his litter box regularly. We will be going to see the vet tomorrow morning to get a check-up, so we will have a better idea of how is is doing overall.
