i think just having a tag with your name and address and phone number would be sufficient, that lets people know he IS a pet, and then they can contact you for any further information..if he loses that he'll lose the microchip tag too, anyways...

LOL, Denise. Btw, the locator thingie is a chip that you put on the collar so that a device at home knows where it is at all time. That way, if he lost it, I could go and retreive the collar.

But today, I went out and got him 3 collars, 3 ID tags, 1 self-made microchip tag (will order more tonight on the web) and a new rabies tag. He is set for 3 more times now. I will always have to get him Rabies tags as we go (can't get a bunch at one time), but at least I have the main stuff.

I'll let you know how long this one lasts.
