Mariah is an unknown quantity at this point
im kinda worried

tiggers getting neutered tomorrow and i was wondering is there any chance that he wont make it? im just a little worried... he is getting an operation after all....

is there anything i should be worried about? this is the best vet is quesnel so he should be ok... and im not feeding him after 8pm tonight like they said.... i just havent had a cat before that wasnt neutered before i got it so yah...

Neuters are very common procedures. You shouldn't have anything to worry about. But you're right, it is an operation. And with an operation, you can expect a bit of recovery time when he gets home. You will probably want to get an Elizabethan collar BEFORE leaving the vet. I've gone back twice after I've had a pet fixed to get one because they wouldn't leave the incision alone.

I'll be thinking of you and Tiggers tommorrow. Let us know how he does.

Like Candice said, he should be fine. Vets do so many of these procedures that the only minimal risk would be with the anesthetic. If he is in good health he'll be fine.

I'm sure he'll be just fine. Been through 12 neuters/spays. Never one problem!

hes in getting neutered right now... im gonna phone the vet at 3pm and ask how he did and then pick him up tomorrow

i was still a little worried about tigger so i phoned to check on him and they said he was doing good im not worried anymore i just cant wait till tomorrow so i can get my kitty back

I'm sorry I missed this thread, but I'm glad to hear that Tigger's doing well. Is he home yet? Both Hamish and Bruce recovered quickly and easily from their neuter - I didn't have any problems with them, and they didn't bother with the incision.
