I love these! But will Willow?

Willow has a great cat tree that she adores right now.

But obviously we won't be bringing it with us when we move back to Calgary. It was really inexpensive to buy here, but I've been checking out the prices in Calgary, and its insane what they charge for tree's similar to this one. But then I came accross these, and I love them! My husband says it would be really easy to make ourselves. What does everyone else think? Would your kitty like them?

Here's a link to the site, there's a video where the cats are using them.

My husband and I are hoping to start a family soon, and we think it would be nice if Willow (and hopefully another friend!) had somewhere high where they'd be out of reach of curious little hands. Does anyone have anything similar to these?

I've seen a book where this family had built similar shelves throughout their entire house, with little holes in the walls between rooms as well. The cats LOVED them!

I would be surprised if Willow DIDN'T like them, actually Our cats love to be up high, I guess it feeds their ego; they can say, "Hey, we're taller than you!" to use measly humans

They wouldn't be that expensive to make, so you may as well give it a try

I love them!!!! I'd have to get ones with rails on them, cos my goofballs tend to get up high and start rolling around. Hamish once actually fell off the top of the kitchen cupboard!

I know of someone who made their own perches like that for their many cats and they're a big hit

We were going to make our own, but after seeing some home made ones, and then reading the customer comments at that katwalk site, we are going to order some long ones that slope and a couple of balconies. Will advise when they arrive.

Hi Dadsgirl! Welcome to the forum.

The balconies look really neat. Let us know how the cats like them.
