| Have I forgotten anything? I'm leaving on Sunday for my 10-day trip and I think I'm obsessing a small bit about leaving the cats for that long! I've not left Aoife and Hamish for longer than a day in over five years, and I've never ever left Bruce and Isobel for longer than a day. So I'm trying to plan for every possible scenario. Here are my arrangements: My mom is coming in every afternoon/evening to feed everyone their supper and to spend a couple/few hours with them. If she stays over, she'll also top up their dry food and water in the morning. If she doesn't stay over, then my supers from across the hallway will come in and do that. I've drafted three pages of kitty care instructions, ie where the food is, how much to feed, what to do if Bruce's eye flares up or his lip swells, where to reach me, etc. I'm leaving $200 cash in the Kitty First Aid Box in case a vet visit is necessary while I'm away, plus I'm leaving with my mom my debit card with direct access to my Credit Line, in case something serious happens and $200 doesn't cover it...phew! Obsessing just a small bit, wot? But then again, I'll be able to relax more, knowing that everything is covered and the kitties will be well taken care of. I'm going to miss them, though! I can't believe it's only four days away!

| Thanks everyone! No worries about photos - I bought a new battery for my digi camera, and another memory stick, as well as an adaptor so I can recharge the camera, so I'll have oodles of photos to post when I get back

| Banshee! If you get a adapter you will need a kit with all the european plug ins, they are all so weird. Also watch the battery temp as they are charging, my aunts battery charger melted at the plug base because it was too much power for the adapter!
I just awtched mine and if it felt warm I removed it for a bit. |
