One of my cats (Wiley) is a drooler.. I don't mind b/c he only does it when he's really relaxed & content.. like when he's getting his belly rubbed..
It doesn't gross me out at all.. I work with animals so I've gotten every bodily fluid there is on me at one time or another..

McCaille is on a distinguished road
haha, McCaille, my calico, is an excessive drooler. She only does it with Tim and I though, which is odd. She'll start drooling so bad when we're petting her and she'll shake her head and whip drool all over the place. When I first noticed it, it was very minimal and only happened on occassion, over the last maybe 2 years, its gotten extremely excessive and a bit gross at times, but I deal, I know it's cause she's content and happy. Heck, even I drool sometimes when I'm content and happy

Donovan's a bit of a drooler. Only started last year though. He feels the need to wipe it in your face too!

Wow, I think I lucked out. None of our 8 little buggers drool. I don't think I've ever seen a cat drool before...

That's what I thought too. I have only had 2 cats, but my sister also had cats and I have never seen one drool before either. I thought people were going to recommend she go to the vet. So you all think it is a normal thing?

I think it's very normal for cats to drool while sleeping or when they are happy. Any other time, and I'd be a bit concerned.
