I dont think Aspen realy gained weight when he got neutured. he is a big boy but I dont think it has anything to do with that..

My sammy was atleast 12 wen we got him fixed, I think he weighs about 15 now!

How old is your cat? If he's a kitten...then 15 pounds is pretty big but if he's full grown then I'd just make sure to initiate alot of play sessions with him to keep him active...and if he keeps gaining weight I'd change him to a reducing or light diet...there's nothing worse than an overweight cat that can't even groom himself properly not to mention the health risks it causes...

Well just like Neuro said my cat has that little pounch over where she got spayed and thats where it turned white. My cat has always been lazy, she is I think 8 now, I play with her but she mostly wants to be petted over playing, even when she was a kitten she didn't really like playing just to be petted hehe. From what I know is she eats mostly at night time, other than that she is sleeping or exploring.

I don't think that those pouches on spayed cats are fat.
