Lightbulb Cat rescued after being hung in a tree by youngsters

Quote:
Pamela Klak said she was on her way to visit a friend when she saw the boys hanging the cat by its neck.

She said the boys ran away, so she untied the kitten and took it to the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Now, the kitten is recovering well. And it has a name: Pumpkin.

Klak said she'd like to keep Pumpkin, but she already has another cat and a dog.

"I just couldn't have another pet," she said.

The Wisconsin Humane Society plans to eventually put Pumpkin up for adoption.......

A study was done several years ago that discovered that serial killers had a tendency to attack or harm animals as youngsters. Does make you wonder sometimes what motivates these kids to do something like that to a kitten, or any animal really. Good job it was found and was able to be treated back to full health.
