| Cat fell from 10th floor
When I was in the elevator leaving for work this morning, there was a notice up that someone's cat had fallen from the 10th floor window last night, and they were looking for him.
Well, when I was coming home, who should get in the elevator but two ladies, one of whom was holding a black and white cat wrapped up in blankets! It was their cat, who much to my surprise was still alive after such a fall. He has a broken paw and a fractured hip, but other than looking somewhat stunned at people fussing over him, he looked fine, and allowed me to pet him and give him a big lecture!
God knows how it happened, and I didn't like to ask the two ladies, who were obviously so overjoyed to have their baby back alive. I'm going to beat my four with a stick if they even think about going near the balcony door!
