Cat can't swallow food

My cat is struggling to eat. He wants to eat, but after a couple of mouthfuls he goes all strange. He starts to salivate really heavily, and there's like a grinding noise coming from his teeth or jaws. He also moving his head from side to side and his eyes are watering. Then usually he regurgitates the mouthful that he's just had along with masses of saliva.

He's had a probe to make sure his oesophagus is clear, and it is.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

SOOTY

Hes been back every day for the last 10 days and going again today.

Had several blood tests. Tonight I'm going to insist on a full oral/layrnx check in case something is stuck and wasn't picked up on the probe.
