So, a bit off topic, but you guys don't have a doggie door, do you? When we have discussed a dog, we always wonder how much of a mess they will make. We are both at work all day and considered a doggie door for while we are away...but then there is no way to keep the house clean when it is muddy.

no doggy doors over here. we live in a subdivision and i couldnt think of leaving the boys outside in the backyard all day. plus my dogs hate being outside without us. ( seriously co-dependent over here) they run outside, do their business and come in. I would also worry about molson getting outside ( he is stictly indoors)
you are right, no way of cleaing up while you are away, except if you block an area off ( like the kitchen) then the mess is somewhat contained

No, definately no doggie doors, ohhh I could just imagine the mud everywhere,.,,,not a pleasant sight,

its not bad for me since I am home all day, but Nellie likes to go out, come in, go out, come in, she could do this all day, but when its muddy like this, i only let her out when she needs to go to the bathroom, haha, unless we are all out there playing too

its weird because we still have snow, but yet everything is muddy and spring,,,,although we had one hot hot day and i got a sunburn,,
