Why Does Cleo Get So Gready.


When eveytime somebody has somethig to eat Cleo goes to eat it. But we never give her any food.Sometime when my sister does not finish he rfood we give her a piece.So that is whycleo gets so greay.

You say 'we never give her any' but then say you give her a piece when your sister doesn't finish her meal. Every dog would rather eat people food.. and if she gets a piece 'some of the time' she will beg 'every time' there is food being eaten b/c this might just be 'one of those times' when she gets a bit. If you don't want her to beg, you have to NEVER give her human food.. and I'd even keep her out of the room when you're eating so she gets the message.

You're right, when your sister gives Cleo a bit of her food it encourages Cleo to get greedy.

Kayl is on a distinguished road
If you do want to give her a treat, put it in her bowl. I feed my guy real food (Barf) and haven't had a problem with begging as of yet.
