She has some things that needed to be looked at, so they drugged her up and CT scanned her and did some biopsies. Because of the Thanksgiving holiday we won't hear back on the biopsies til next week.
Caption: Redgee wrapped up in a blanket after her biopsy, still very drugged up. She was laying on me that's why this is a weird angle.
She's a bit of a "problem" when it comes to interracting with humans that aren't me or my husband so they put us in a special room where they sedated her, hooked up her catheter and let us wait with her until she was as sedated as she was going to be before the anesthesia.
The CT Scan and the biopsy took about an hour total and then after that they brought her back to us wrapped in a big blanket. Because she has almost 0 body fat her temperature had dropped a lot from the anesthesia. Usually with more friendly dogs they wrap them up and put them in a crate and monitor them, but with Redgee they wrapped her up and brought her into the special room we were waiting in. It took about 2 and half to 3 hours for her to be awake enough to where it was safe to go home, even though her body temperature was still a bit low.
The drugs have completely worn off and other than absolutely hating her lampshade she is doing very well!
