Sad new's with a Happy Ending

In my Intro. I mentioned that we have a foster dog. Angel was only supposed to be here for a few months till I could help her owner get Angels problems under control. Well she still has her problems but not as bad. Her owner has been trying to get her parents to let her bring Angel back home ( she wants to bring her home and have her crated at night ). Well I found out today that her step-dad has put his foot down, in his own words..... " THERE WILL BE NO MORE DOGS COMING INTO THIS HOUSE EVER AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE, PERIOD! " He also said that if any dogs are brought into the house ( Angel included ) that he would take the dog/dogs out to the country and turn them loose. So I've talked it over with my boyfriend and his dad and WE'RE GOING TO KEEP HER................

Here is the pic of our new dog ........... Angel ( pic taken when she first got here ).

My Daughter is so excited, and I have told the former ( SP ) owner that she can come and see Angel anytime she wants too. I was told by the previous owner that she's a GSD/Wolf, but I don't see the wolf in her. I think she's a GSD/? because she has two blue spots on her tongue, not sure what breed has this, any help would be great.

She's very pretty. What problems are you working on with her?

Half the time she won't tell you she has to go potty ( she'll just goes into the bathroom and do both on the floor ). Angel loves to jump on anyone that comes in the door and she will destroy anything that she can get into her mouth ( my daughters toys which are in her toy box, clothes, pens, paper, electrical cords ). The previous owner never paid much attention to her so she was able to do what ever she wanted without being reprimanded ( SP ), and I'm trying to correct the damage that's been done. She's getting better at a few ( letting me know when she has to potty, and not destroying everything she can get ahold of ).

She's got the rottie markings though, I'd say Rottie/Husky. Regardless, she's beautiful! Good luck straightening her out!

I wish owners would be more responsible for training their dogs to have good manners

If she has black spots on her tongue that means she has Chow in her.. but by the looks of her, not a whole lot.. She looks like a mixed husky/shepherd to me..
What kind of problems was the previous owner having with her?
Congrats BTW.. she's a nice-looking dog!

The same things that she's doing here. I also think that she was abused at her previous owners house ( previous owner was 16 yrs. old ). When I go and raise me voice to give her a stern NO she cowers and gives me the look ( Please don't beat me ) and when I go to grab her collar and say No Angel she'll cower also. So no one jumps down my throat I don't beat her at all I just give a firm toned NO when she does something wrong. Would it hurt her training any if when she does misbehave ( going potty in the house without asking to go out or destroying something ) to give a slight tap on the rump while saying in a calmer voice NO that's a bad Angel.
