| Pippin's Checkup Pippin went in today for booster shots and to get his license for next year, this morning. He has a clean bill of health and is doing great! He only weighs in at 60.4 lbs. The vet said he looks like a very healthy athletic 2 year old male and we shouldn't worry about him losing weight ( he was 65 lbs on his last visit, but that was almost a year ago ) After all the countless vet visits we had in the first year, it is amazing we went almost a year without a visit. As some of you remember Pippin's puppyhood, that is quite a feat. he he
I had to laugh out loud when he told me it was because he was so active, Pippin hardly gets off the couch to go outside right now, because it is so cold, and he is afraid he might miss someone dropping some food in the kitchen while he is outside doing his business.

| Teresa, sounds like Pippin is a very healthy boy. I think his weight is ideal, especially if he isn't active. I couldn't help but laugh when you said "Pippin hardly gets off the couch to go outside right now, because it is so cold, and he is afraid he might miss someone dropping some food in the kitchen while he is outside doing his business." |

| LOL, it is so true, I wish you could see him, as soon as we let him out, he runs off the deck and comes right back up, we let him in, and he does the lab vacuum all around the kitchen "just in case"

| and if the electric blanket is on, he won't move to let you on the couch either. Joey is just as bad though( about the electric blanket) at least he will stay outside for longer then 45 seconds

| Do Joey or Pippin ever give you or Scott "the begging eye" look? I can't stand it! Every time Logan hears me in the kitchen, he automatically thinks he is getting a morsel. I could even be opening up orange juice and he is sitting there with that look that says, "Oh, is that for me? Is it? Huh? Huh?". |

| lol, umm I think Pippin perfected that Joey could care less, then again, he has never been food motivated, the only time he gets excited about food is when we feed him. other then that, he could care less if we are eating or in the kitchen ( we did train our first one right he he) Pippin on the other hand, if we even get up to go towards the kitchen he is right on our heels
