| Picky Pooer Dave and I have realized Pitch is a picky pooer. Say that 10 times fast. In order for him to poo, we need to take him to a quiet, secluded part of the neighbourhood. He also sniffs and sniffs and sniffs until he finds the perfect spot. I guess you can say Pitch is very modest and likes to do his business in private. Kinda like me and using public bathrooms. Do any of your dogs have a complex about where they go and do their business? |

Pitch the pup is s picky pooer...
lol
Conner would poo only by one certain tree- which was placed dangerously in an area where people walk from the driveway to the house. I took to throwing a handful of hay over the piles more as a landmark than shoe protection then just pray for rain. |

| joeybear will not go poo if you are staring at him, when he goes outside to go poo he will walk around and around and stare at us from the window and will only go when we look away.

| My Mom's German Sheppard Kado didn't like if you watched him. I used to put him outside and he wasn't a dog to take off, he'd do his thing and come in. So no one bothered to tether him for the 2 minutes he was out there.
But if you looked through the door window at him to check to see if he was there (just in case) and he was facing you, mid poop, he would turn himself around WHILE squatting AND pooing just so he wouldn't look at you.
Very weird. |

| I call it "Poo Shui" (for Feng Shui) -- dogs have to find the perfect spot that has all of the correct kharmic alignments on which to have a satisfying poo. Dogs are very spiritual creatures and the finickyness for the right spot is evidence of their devotion and faith. At least, this is what I tell myself in -40 weather when the dogs take their time! |

Denise, it sounds like you are having some interesting experiences with your foster doggy. |

| Thankfully both Dante and Morpheus are happy to go in the yard. When Dante was young, he was a bit picky, he'd pace back and forth forever before producing! |

| Montana usually poops in the same 2 spots every day. She will go in other places if she has to though..
Koko on the other hand, will go poop ANYWHERE the urge hits her! Like in the middle of an intersection while we are crossing the street... she did this the other day.. weird dog! Thankfully there were no cars waiting for us to cross.. How embarrassing would that have been?
