Peeing In The House *

My dog will be 2 in May and I have tried EVERYTHING to make him not pee in the house... BUT HE WON'T STOP. I know it may be due to him not being neutered but is there anyway that he won't spray as much if I can get a spray where he thinks the smell is fowl or where he actually knows its bad... when he knows its bad he does it anyways when nobody is looking but when we are around he goes and cries at the door. Hes a chihuahua, maybe thats why? LOL... jk!! I know he might not pee as much once he is neutered but i'm hoping to have him breed at least once before he gets fixed... thank you!! *

Rocky used to do that. We tried everything but it didn't stop until we had him neutered =/. Why do you want to breed him anyway?

CTChin is on a distinguished road
Well you have a choice...chi puppies or smelly peepee house. If you wait too long to neuter, he may never stop the habit of peeing in the house. The best advice I can think of besides that is go back to housebreaking 101 and crate train him just like he is an 8 week old puppy.

I have to agree with CTChin -- back to basics and treat him like he's an 8 week old pup. In the crate, taken outside on leash, BIG PRAISE when he pees outside, frequent walks outside, etc.

Good luck!

He always goes outside on a leash to pee.... but sometimes he just needs to pee on the corner of things in the house, like the bathroom door or the toilet or the kitchen chair corners... he won't be happy about crate training thats for sure, lol.. thanks though

Breeding because you want Chi puppies is not a very good reason. I would get him neutered and tell anyone who wants a puppy to save a dog from death by rescuing from a shelter.

Does he have seperation anxiety? It's going to take lots of patience and hard work to train him, good luck and let us know how he's doing
