Thanks everyone. She's definately a bundle of energy, now that she's gotten used to her home. She came from a farm littler, so she wasn't vetchecked, and lived in a barn for the first 8 weeks of her life. I'm so glad we got her. She's now dewormed, had her first vaccine, is mircrochipped, sits and lays down on command, has more toys than she knows what to do with, is crate trained, and abosultely adores any and all human interaction. Taking her for walks is funny, because she's absolutely certain that every person on the street in sight that passes us by, wantsto/will/needsto play with her or give her affection. It's a bit bothersome, but with the sit command she can be calmed down on cue. I'm so impressed by how intelligent she is. She really likes our rabbit, they ran around together, and he has absolutely no fear of her. She loves to sleep beside his cage, where there is a nice cold stone floor, and she can keep him company. It's adorable.

YukonDaisy.. thankyou for noticing my hair! I did it awhile ago.. and donated 12 inches of hair to locks'of'love. It was really random but amazing, as I was on a trip to the states to visit a friend and there just happened to be such a function in one of the pubs he frequented. I influenced him to shave his head, and gave away the majority of my hair. I came back and shocked everyone.. I keep getting the :O face from people who haven't seen me in a while and remember me with long hair to my waist. They mourn for it more than I do.. I just smile and say.. now it can keep some little boy or girl happy. (Lock's of love is when you donate hair for cancer and other patients, to be made into wigs, and to raise money for a childrens hospital) I think it's one of the easiest and nicest things I've ever done. Uhm.. I'm rambling now.

Yes! Border Collies are awesome. She's a wonderful part of the zoo. Though I question why we got a puppy right before winter. Wish I had a bit more time to ease into those cold walks.. hahaha. Time to go out and buy some extra warm clothes!! I'm thinking of getting into agility or freestyle training with her next summer, since she picks things up so quickly, and definitely needs the exercise (hard-working breed). Should be all sorts of fun.

She's doing really well.. she has her sit and lay down commands learned really well. She's so full of energy, and very entertaining.
