ronco is an unknown quantity at this point

I think Shepherds are the best companion for most anyone. But then I would be prejudiced. Actually most dogs are loveable pets and bring joy to us.

I have met several shepherds and I just love their temperment. They are so smart but are very level-headed. I had originally wanted a border collie but I find that shepherds (at least the ones I know) are less "OCD". We will definitely be looking into a shepherd once we are ready for a dog.

Brandy is on a distinguished road
WOW, that is one huge and gorgeous dog!!!

Candice, are you guys going to get a puppy after you're married?
My Uncle used to breed shepards, so whenever we went to Grammie's (every Sunday) my brother and I used to go over and play with my Uncles dogs (he lived next door) his shepards were much more enjoyable to play with than Grammies toy poodle,,lol

Mom would never let us have one though, her and Dad had 2 of them before we were born, Mom said they turned on them and were aggressive come to find out years later when we had a conversation about them, Mom said they turned on them and were nasty dogs, I said well why what did they do? Mom said you couldnt touch their tails or back ends or they would bite

WELL duh!!! they probably had dip dysplasia and were in pain they werent biting because they were mean, it hurt when you touched them, Mom feels bad now that she talked badly about the breed, but then I guess they were to ignorant to find out why the dog was biting

one of my uncles big males did bite my brother, and now Greg is very timid of all big dogs BUT he doesnt hate them, he is just very cautious around them until he gets to know them, he loves loves Sasha and he wants a newfoundlander someday,

the German Shepard is Craigs FAVORITE breed and everyone up here around us seems to have a German Shepard or a huskey!!

they are gorgeous dogs

Brandy, I don't know when we'll decide to get a dog. We are very aware that we aren't quite ready yet.
